Jordan has now been working with us for a year and five months since leaving full time education, he is producing very high quality work, his two days a week initial training for a year have paid off handsomely.
We still haven't any prepared 'off-the-shelf' as yet, the good news is that waiting lists are down to 4-5 weeks from order. We did prepare an SC spec head but it sold before it was even finished!
We have prepared a very special MGB alloy non x-flow head. I have obtained three ally casting from GT Precision Engineering,some years ago we worked with George Edney who owns GT Precision to develop an ally casting based on the 12H2709 CI casting. The head we have worked on features 1.72" inlet valves and 1.34" exhaust valves. The head costs £1500 plus vat ( if appropriate). Unusually I have polished the combustion chambers to a mirror finish, no difference to bhp...but....what the hell? They look good! This will be one of three very special heads. The head has been on our flow bench to ensure all things are working well, the figures will be included with the head. The head only needs skimming/milling to finish....the perfect Christmas present?
